Martin Brennan
gloveglu academy director
gloveglu Academy director Martin Brennan will take the lead at The Nationals, sharing his expertise with every Keeper who attends.
Martin played as a goalkeeper, beginning as a trainee at Charlton Athletic, before moving to Cambridge United for the 2002-03 season. He then had brief spells with Welling United and Stevenage Borough, before retiring from playing after spending the 2004-05 season with Dagenham & Redbridge.
In 2006 he moved into goalkeeper coaching, becoming under-18s coach at Tottenham Hotspur. In 2008 he joined Wycombe Wanderers as first team goalkeeping coach, a position he held until 2012, when he moved on to Fulham. He coached their under-21 goalkeepers for two years, before being promoted to Fulham first team goalkeeping coach in 2014. Martin is now currently goalkeeper coach at Boreham Wood.
Martin runs gloveglu Academy alongside Paul Sherratt, and shares weekly tips on the glovelgu Academy TikTok, Youtube channel, and talks all things goalkeeping on the ‘Goalkeeping Podcast’

Mitch Walker
Ex pro Goalkeeper
Walker made his professional debut for Brighton & Hove Albion on the last day of the 2009-10 season starting in the 1–0 victory over Yeovil Town at the Withdean Stadium.
During January 2011, Walker signed on loan with Conference South side Welling United. On 1 March 2012, Walker joined Eastbourne Borough for a second loan spell.
Walker spent seven years at Dover Athletic before joining Aldershot Town the Summer of 2019. He went onto feature 93 times for the Hampshire-based side before leaving in 2022 to further establish his coaching career.
Mitch brings with him a wealth of experience and we welcome him to The Nationals.

Ryan Huddart
Ex pro Goalkeeper
A tall and agile keeper, Ryan impressed during the Arsenal UEFA Youth League campaign in 2015/16, and his performances caught the eye of Arsène Wenger, who named the England youth international on the bench for Arsenal’s Champions League group-stage games against Borussia Dortmund and Anderlecht that season.
Following various loan spells at Eastleigh, Bromley and Boreham Wood, Ryan has now taken his skills into coaching and we’re proud to have him on the team for The Nationals.

See what our 2022 Keepers thought!
We asked some of our goalkeepers, their parents and our coaches what they thought about The Nationals 2022.
The inaugural camp was a huge success, with 40 keepers aged 8-16 staying at Harrow School. The group got along excellently, had a lot of fun and became better keepers in the process. Many are returning next year. There are limited spaces available!
